When exporting to a *.mid file, should I use Type 1 or Type 0?

When you want to export the open *.nwc file to a *.mid file, and go to File: Save, under "Save as type" you have the choice of Type 1 MIDI file and Type 0 MIDI file.

Type 0 MIDI files are always one track with one or more channels. Type 1 MIDI files can be one or more track.

This question is better answered for the receiving software. However, select Type 1 if the receiving software will accept it (most do).
