How to fix Font Error: NWC true-type font cannot be found
I get a "Font Error: NWC true-type font cannot be found" message when I try to start NWC. How do I fix this?NoteWorthy Composer includes a custom notation font when it is installed. This font must be installed in your system before NoteWorthy Composer can operate successfully. The NoteWorthy Composer installer automatically adds this font to your system, but problems might occur in this process.
Windows 95, 98, or ME:
If you are using Windows 95, 98, or ME, these systems have a limit on how many fonts can be installed in the system. You might need to reduce the number of fonts that are installed on your system. This is explained by Microsoft in a knowledge base article, "TrueType Font Limits in Windows 95/98/Me". It uses technical jargon to explain the problem, and it uses overly optimistic numbers when predicting the actual number of fonts supported on these systems. A clearer, and more realistic, description of the situation is available in the article Overcoming Font Overload in Windows by Sue Chastain on about.com.
All Windows Versions:
If your system uses Windows 2000 or Windows XP, or you are sure that you have not exceeded the font limits of your system, you can attempt to re-install the font using the following utility:
