Adding a Harmonic Indication |

For adding a harmonic indication to notes, esp. guitar music, try placing the cursor to the left of the note, then choose Insert: Text, type a small letter "o" and under the Expression Placement tab, uncheck the "preserve width box" and use the up or down numbers to place the indicator a couple of staff positions above the note you are editing. (BTW I use the staff lyric bold font for this, but it depends on your choice of staff size to adjust.
