Tip Title:
Tip Text: Ever come across a midi file that had the melody track drowned out by the supporting tracks?? To avoid that problem when exporting, if you are using a soft instrument, like flute, for the melody part, with piano as support, shift the piano parts either side of 'centre' (default is 64) of stereo pan , found in Staff Properties, before fiddling with the volume setting (also in Staff Properties, with default 127 [loudest].) What happens here, is when the stereo pan is altered, it reduces the volume feed to one speaker, without affecting the volume fed to the other... this then has the effect of reducing the overall volume of the staff. This is particularly effective where there is a few support instruments.
