If your music is going to be published in the Web, be sure to select "Midi Mapper" as the playback device under Staff Properties, Midi. If a specific card or device is chosen, folks who do not have that card or device may not be able to hear the music through !i(Noteworthy Player) or the NWC plug-in as such.
