I have a file using Boxmark2 (for arpeggios), but I'm seeing the "c" instead. I'm running on XP Pro, Boxmark2 is installed and shows up in the Character map, and when I look at the file from my Win98 machine (over a network) the symbol is there. So, what dumb thing am I doing?

An additional datum, the Boxmark2 character does display in print-preview.

Have you tried rebooting? At a minimum, you should reload the document.

For speed reasons, Windows uses a technique it calls "font caching". One side effect this is that fonts don't always appear in documents that are open when the font is installed.

That did it. I was confused by Print-Preview working when nothing else did. I guess it acts like a seperate program and picks up the installed font.

Thank a lot.
