The check for updates is not available in the Help pulldown of version 1u.

From the newsgroup: "I notice that there is no mechanism in P1u to check for updates." But: The "Access NoteWorthy Software.com" site works as a version checker.

Yes, it does. If you hover over the command, it actually describes the command in the status bar.

It requires NWC2 to be maximised - otherwise not visible.

I haven't quite gone yet... I notice that now, the Help > access NoteWorthySoftware.com choice leads to a more useful web page. Check it out.
