When I try to open a NWC file from Windows Explorer or some other file manager, Windows tries NWC 1.75 and complains about mismatch. I have tried to change this in File Associations, but it does not work for XP users without admin privileges. What can I do? Do I have to uninstall 1.75? Sven

If you install the NWC2 Viewer, it includes a launching mechanism that can automatically direct *.nwc files to the corresponding version of NWC (version 1 files open in NWC1, and version 2 files open in NWC2). You will probably have some trouble, though, if you are not logged in as an Administrator.

Great! I knew there was a reason I couldn't open files directly from Outlook Express any more - I hadn't installed the viewer on my new PC. It works fine now - thanks! Robin
