Sorry to post so much! I just got NWC2, so... Anyway, paste this into a stave
Highlight the first chord, and try to tie it to the second. The ties will fail to connect. | |||||

Try hitting {F9} after you set the tie. BTW, if you paste this, the editor corrects itself immediately:

Hmm. Another oddity. Once the notes ARE tied correctly, highlight the first chord and turn its ties off. You get the same oddity only going backwards from the second chord. | |||||
