I've been writting a few jazz tunes, and I've been needing a couple of pitch bends for a fall here and there. Could anyone tell me how?

Pitch bend is controlled by the Multi-point controller. Access the controller by INSERT/MULTI-CONTROLLER.

When you have the Midi Multi-Controller Window, then click on HELP which will bring up the HELP for multi-controller command. You may want to print it out for easy reference.

But just to answer the next question, the MPC Pitch controller works with values from -8000ish to +8000ish. This corresponds to the default pitch wheel range, which is normally two semitones.

Best thing to do is to fiddle with all the switches and see what works best, but be aware that if you make the step interval too small (if you are using a linear sweep, which you prob'ly will for a bent note), you'll end up flooding your midi device with too many pitch change messages. A quick sweep may only need about 10 or even fewer in-between steps.

Hope this cryptic suggestion helps.
