Quantising

I am new to MIDI and am having problems when playing a keyboard for input into V.1.5
When entering 4 crotchets in invariably get a mixture of quavers tied to various semis and demi-semis. Can anyone
recommend a way around this. I am aware that I can use the computer keyboard but obviously this is a slower way of entry.

You have two options:

1. Go to Tools, Options, and make the Note Resolution value a larger value (for example, change from 32nd notes to 8th notes).

2. You can change these settings on the fly by recording your performance, and then manually importing it using the Staff, Import Recording command. This allows you to set the import options specifically targetted at your last performance.
