Sorry if I`ve missed this somewhere along the line, but - is there a reliable method out there, of creating markers to show rhythmic patterns and phrasing for strummed guitar, on the stave? Much gratitude. Stokey.

In NWC 1.75b, just put in a muted note, make it invisible, and then put in a simple text entry before it, a forward slash with perhaps a blank space or two before and after it, to taste. Align this text entry "with next note." Copy it as many times as you need. I'd manually add a bar line, and copy an entire bar many times, instead of using automatic bar lines, because the automatic will come between the text and the first note of a bar.

If you upgrade to public preview version 2, you can get a bit fancier, using headless notes. This gives you the opportunity to have comping marks for 8th notes, since the note stem will be visible.
