 NoteWorthy Composer 2 Beta Test Program

NoteWorthy Composer 2 will be our next major release. Version 2 is not currently available for purchase, as it is currently undergoing beta testing. If you are interested in participating in the beta test process, you can learn more about the process, including eligibility requirements, using the links below: What's New: For details on what's new in this release, refer to this section of the help file. Eligibility: You must be eligible for NWC2 before you can download it. Becoming eligible: Not eligible? Your options are explained here. Eligibility requirements for participating in the NoteWorthy Composer 2 Beta Test:

1. You purchased NoteWorthy Composer Version 1.75 or later (the "Qualifying Program") directly from NoteWorthy Software, Inc.
2. You have received your copy of the Qualifying Program package in the mail, including the registration label and CD media, and have these materials in your possession
3. Your computer meets the NoteWorthy Composer 2 Beta Test's minimum system requirements:
   • Windows 95 or later
   • CD Drive (required for installing the program)
   • 15 " VGA Monitor, 800x600 Resolution
   • A sound card or MIDI port
   • Printer
4. Your browser accepts session cookies, and is capable of modern SSL communication with our noteworthysoftware.com secure site

If you do not meet the eligibility requirements:

If you are a registered user of NoteWorthy Composer and do not meet the eligibility requirements, your options are

• Purchase a NoteWorthy Composer Version 1.75c CD from NoteWorthy Software, if you would like to participate in the beta test. Anyone who purchases version 1.75c directly from NoteWorthy Software will be granted a license to download and use version 2 when it is released. Our plan is to make the download available for a limited time upon the official release of Version 2. See the upgrade/replacement package page for ordering info.
• Do not participate in the beta test and wait for the final Version 2 release. You can evaluate your purchase options at that time.
  
• Download the NoteWorthy Composer 2 Viewer and try out some of the new NoteWorthy Composer 2 print technology.

If you are currently considering purchase of NoteWorthy Composer Version 1.7c direct from NoteWorthy Software, with your purchase, you will be shipped a version 1.75c CD, you can participate in the beta test if you like, and you will be granted a license to download and use version 2 when it is released. Our plan is to make the download available for a limited time upon the official release of Version 2.

Getting Started with the Beta Test

The NoteWorthy Composer 2 product is not quite ready for release and sale. We do not recommend that you install the Version 2 Beta Test unless you are comfortable with testing and using pre-release quality software.

If you meet the eligibility requirements listed above, you can download your copy of the current beta test edition by completing the enrollment form, which is linked below. When installing, it should be noted that your current *.nwc file associations will not be modified by the installer. The installer automatically sets up a new file action for *.nwc files called Open with NWC Version 2. Your existing Open action will not be altered. Be careful about altering your current library of *.nwc files, since anything saved by NoteWorthy Composer 2 will not be viewable in the version 1 program.

After installing the beta test edition:

• Check out the version 2 resource page for some additional links to tools that might improve your experience.
• Get support for the program through our dedicated online community and nwc2beta newsgroup on our news server.
• Have fun trying out the new features! For details on what's new in this release, refer to the What's New section of the help file.

NoteWorthy Composer Version 2 Availability

NoteWorthy Composer Version 2 has not been released. As such, upgrade pricing for Version 1 users to Version 2 and new license pricing has not been released. A date has not been announced for the release of Version 2.

Anyone who purchases version 1.75 directly from NoteWorthy Software will be granted a license to download and use version 2 when it is released. Our plan is to make the download available for a limited time upon the official release of Version 2. When NWC 2 is released, you will need your copy of NWC 1.75 on CD, as well as its registration label, in order to participate in this offer.
